A fashion re-do is due for the ponies
A horse is a horse, of course, of course
And no one can dress a horse of course

Your Sooner Fashionista!
Hello, my lovelies! It’s your Fashionista bringing all the fashion that is fashion this fall on the football field.
And upon your Sooner gridiron, occasionally, there are two anthropomorphic horses named Boomer and Sooner. Not those attached to the Little House on Prairie Wagon but those with human hands and 5 fingers. I kid you not!
But what my fashion filled brain wants to know is whose job is it to dress these said equines? Maestro Venebles? Surely, not. The man can barely dress himself. Though their taste in clothes does lean the same way.
I suggest that we make these miraculously masculine mustangs a little more appealing to those of us with at least a wee bit of fashion sense. First of all, why do they both have to be stallions? Why don’t we have space for a miraculously maidenly mare?
Do we not have female fans in the stands? Horse feathers, you might answer. Of course! Feathers would go wonderfully on our newly christened mare. They are both mysterious and becoming.
To match our newly feminine feathered figure, our stallion must be equally tres chic. While feathers may not fit his look, why not add some faux ivory buttons to a well tailored suit and gel in that luxurious mane. Not the gel with animal derived keratin, of course.
We would want no hoof in hair disease, or some such nonsense. Imagine how proud we would be of our new couple!
As for Old Miss, that is easy. A fashionable way for any elderly woman to dress is by balancing comfort and style with pieces like well-fitting trousers or midi skirts, soft, breathable fabrics, and classic items like blazers and button-down shirts.
Though why our beloved Crimson and Cream gentlemen would compete against the senior citizenettes of Mississippi is beyond me.
Well, that’s all from me today, mon ami! Stay tuned ‘til next week when I bring you the Fashionista Freaky Falloween Fiesta! Until then, Boomer Sooner!
