Murray saves the day for Oklahoma

Oklahoma promised a better offensive line and better running game.

It took all of one play to deliver some hope.

DeMarco Murray broke off a 39-yard run on OU’s first play of the season, a sign of things to come, but Oklahoma sputtered much of this game, leaving lots of questions unanswered in a 31-24 victory over Utah State on Saturday night at Owen Field.

“You have to bring it to the game regardless of who you are playing,” said OU coach Bob Stoops.
