Our guide to watching college football this weekend:
Thursday, September 5 — Forget watching college football on Thursday night. It’s Wake Forest at Boston College on ESPN. That’s not worth giving up watching Big Bang Theory.
Saturday, September 7 — The morning starts at 11 am with Florida at Miami on ESPN, two teams we’d prefer not to like, but this could be a good matchup. Or, Oklahoma State at Texas-San Antonio on Fox Sports 1. At 2:30 pm take a peek at Buffalo at Baylor on FSN, but the ESPN game in that time slot is South Carolina versus Georgia — maybe the best game of the day.
The 6 pm Texas at BYU game might be close for a half on ESPN2. But who is going to watch that over West Virginia at Oklahoma on Fox? (Some team named Notre Dame is playing at Michigan on ESPN at 7 pm CT). Close out the night with Mike Leach’s Washington State team going into LA to play USC on Fox Sports 1 at 9:30 pm.
