Everything we need to know about ex-OU quarterbacks we don’t really care about anymore

It’s like checking up on old flames on social media.

How are their lives now?

Are they being treated OK?

Do they miss us?

Are they missing the best thing that ever happened to them?

That brings us to this new feature: Everything we need to know about ex-OU quarterbacks we don’t really care about anymore.

In the past few years, OU has lost an inordinate amount of exes, particularly quarterbacks, through the transfer portal.

As of recent, OU lost Caleb Williams to USC, Spencer Rattler to that other USC, Chandler Morris to TCU and Tanner Mordacai to TCU’s mortal enemy, SMU.

In Week 1, they combined for 1,019 passing yards, seven touchdowns and four victories.

But, do we really care how they’re doing? I don’t care.

Well, maybe.

Let’s check anyway. Caleb Williams, 19 of 22, 249 yards, 2 touchdowns, sacked once, 68 yards rushing in USC’s 66-14 victory over Rice in LA.

In the past few years, OU has lost an inordinate amount of exes, particularly quarterbacks, through the transfer portal.

Spencer Rattler, 23 of 37, 227 yards, 1 TD, two interceptions, sacked three times in South Carolina’s 35-14 victory over Georgia State.

Chandler Morris, 13 of 20, 111 yards, no TDs, no interceptions, 18 yards rushing in TCU’s 38-13 victory over Colorado. He twisted his knee on a QB keeper in the third quarter and is listed as questionable against Tarleton State on Saturday.

Tanner Mordecai, 23 of 32, 432 yards, four TDs, no interceptions in SMU’s 48-10 rout of North Texas.

So?

OU is ranked higher than all of y’all.
