Dave: Big 12 Championship seems like a birth right for Sooners

You might as well pencil Oklahoma in one of the slots for this game every year.

We are coming to the end of a really strange college football season.

I don’t know how history will judge this year. Should there be an asterisk by all the records and Championships?

Should the season have counted? Should the season even have been played at all?

Should Ohio St. get into the play off after playing 5 regular season games? Hell, should they really have been allowed to play in the Big 10 Title game? Who knows?

I was of the opinion that the season should have been cancelled for the safety of all involved.

But I would be a hypocrite if I said I didn’t enjoy watching the Sooners this year. They took a few lumps early, but the bounce back has been incredible.

The texas game alone…to watch the horn sideline after they lost in 4 overtimes…pure gold.

But I digress. The Sooners are once again in the Big 12 Championship this Saturday morning. It seems that is their birth right now. You might as well pencil
Oklahoma in one of the slots for this game every year.

It sounds cliché but if they Sooners play up to their potential, then they win. They have more talent than Iowa St.

But the Cyclones have experience at quarterback. Rattler is getting better and better, but he is still a redshirt freshman.

If we can run the ball, we have a great shot at this. And the last time around we didn’t have Rhamondre Stevenson and maybe more
importantly, Ronnie Perkins.

I look for them to have a big impact on this game. The Worry Meter is high at 80%
this week.

It’s always going to be high with a title at stake. Man…six in a row sounds really nice.

With all that being said….BOOMER!!!
