Pick ’em panel favors Sooners in Bedlam (no surprise there)

Bedlam in prime time is the game of the week, of course.

And 9 of 10 of our Pick ’em experts favor the Sooners to dash ‘Pokes’ hopes of upending Oklahoma’s season.

An equally close game may be in Ames, Iowa  where the K-State Wildcats come to town to take on the Cyclones. But 8 out of 10 are picking the home team in that one.

One sees an Indiana upset of Ohio State.

Another has Rutgers putting a nail in the Michigan coffin. So long Harbaugh.

Home teams favored in Big 12 this weekend

West Virginia gets the favored status over TCU in this Saturday’s Big 12 play in Morgantown, according to our squad of Pick ‘me experts.

Also expected to win is Texas Tech over Baylor (in Lubbock).

A game to watch Saturday is Northwestern at Purdue. Although the panel favors Northwestern 7-3, this game is being played in West Lafayette and the Boilermakers are boiling on all cylinders right now.

Our group of 10 pickers are in a close race.  Perennial winner Roger has the current lead, going 44-22 on the season. But Jack and Rick are just one game behind, at 43-23.  All others are within striking distance.

Sooners, Bears, Cowpokes and Wildcats favored this weekend in Big 12

This weekend’s slate of college football will see Clemson playing without its starting quarterback, because of COVID-19. But, that only means the Tigers are 24 point favorites over Boston College instead of 24. 

Meanwhile, our panel of prognosticators focuses on the Big 12 this week. 

Baylor is slightly favored 6-4 over TCU in Waco. And Kansas State is expected 9-0 to defeat the West Virginia Mountaineers in Morgantown. 

One contest that will get much attention is Texas traveling to Stillwater. The panel favors the Cowboys 7-3.
